Records Center
The Perry County Clerk is charged with indexing and housing all legal land records as well as marriage license and notary bonds. Some of our records date back as far as the late 1700s and go through to the current day. At present time, we use a digital index however, the oldest records are still kept by the ledger as they were at the time of filing. Our Deed and Recordings rooms are open to the public daily from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Marriage License
We perform a variety of duties related to the marriage process.
Become a notary public
The Professional License Department handles applications for notary public commissions.
All “Open Records Requests” are subject to the County Clerk’s approval. All requests involving real estate documents and/or tax bills will only be accepted by mail as we require payment prior to processing. Each record is $.25 per page and there is a $2.00 postage and handling fee per request. Open Records Requests
