Important Dates for 2023

Registration Deadline is October 10, 2023

Mail-In Absentee Ballot –

Saturday, September 23rd – Online mail-in absentee request portal to open
(45 days before the election).

Tuesday, October 24th – online mail-in absentee request portal to close
(14 days before the election) at 11:59PM

Ballots for the November 2023 General may be returned by mail, or to the secure drop box located outside the entrance of the Perry county courthouse. Our ballot box is under 24hr video surveillance and is available 7 days a week. Ballots must be received in the clerk’s office by November 7th at 6:00pm.

In-Person Excuse Absentee – October 25th, 26th, 27th, 30th, 31st and November 1st, 2023
located at the Perry County Courthouse 2nd floor.

In-Person No-Excuse Absentee – November 2nd, 3rd and 4th, 2023
located at the Perry County Courthouse 2nd floor & at the Perry County Public Library

Election Day – November 7th, 2023

The mail-in online absentee ballot portal will be open from
Saturday, September, 23rd 2023 – Tuesday, October 24th, 2023 at 11:59 PM.
If a voter meets the requirements, they can request a ballot
at the following website: vrsws.sos.ky.gov/ovrweb/govoteky
