Important Dates for 2024

Registration Deadline is April 22, 2024

Mail-In Absentee Ballot –

Saturday, April 6 – Online mail-in absentee request portal to open
(45 days before the election).

Tuesday, May 7 – online mail-in absentee request portal to close
(14 days before the election) at 11:59PM

Ballots for the May 2024 Primary may be returned by mail, or to the secure drop box located outside the Perry County Courthouse during normal business hours of 8:00AM-4:00PM, Monday-Friday. Ballots must be received in the clerk’s office by May 21, 2024 at 6:00PM.

In-Person Excuse Absentee – May 8-10 and 13-15, 2024, 8:00AM-4:00PM located at the Perry County Courthouse 2nd floor.

In-Person No-Excuse Absentee – May 16 & 17, 2024, 8:00AM-6:00PM and May 18, 2024, 8:00AM – 4:00PM
located at the Perry County Courthouse 2nd floor & at the Perry County Public Library

Election Day – Tuesday May 21, 2024. Polls open 6:00AM-6:00PM.

Notice to the Public: If you have made changes through the Driver’s License Department or the Food Stamp Office, Please Call the Perry County Clerk’s Office and Speak to Melissa or Monek with Voter Registration (606) 436-0049

The mail-in online absentee ballot portal will be open from
Saturday, April 6, 2024 – Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 11:59 PM.
If a voter meets the requirements, they can request a ballot
at the following website: vrsws.sos.ky.gov/ovrweb/govoteky
